Marnie Valenta, LMP, CDI graduated from the Brian Utting School of Massage in 2000 with over 1000 hours of training. Using a foundation of Deep Tissue Massage, I seek to promote profound relaxation and help people connect to their own strength, resource and sense of themselves. I have received continuing education in Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Trager work, Reiki and am a Certified Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapist.


Sincerely inspired after witnessing the birth experience of a close friend in 1997, I attended the Labor Support Course for Birth Doulas from Seattle Midwifery School in 2001. I am certified through PALS Doulas and completed the Seattle Midwifery School Childbirth Educator Training in 2007. I believe a positive birth experience creates a solid foundation for families!
